Lucky fashionistas, who managed to get their hands on a fabulous VIP ticket received an exclusive gift bag full of amazing luxury goodies, samples from a Luxury Tanning brand Vita Liberata. With Celebrity fans such as Erin O\’Connor and Geri Halliwell, the tan is sure to be your best friend during the coming summer months. The team from Vita Liberata was also available during Fashion Week to offer free exclusive spray tans and skin finishing! After taking a seat, guests were treated to a truly amazing catwalk shows, brought to you by stunningly stylish presenter Frankie McCamley, who introduced designers from all over the world! Koyawo London was kicking off the show on Friday, followed by a fabulous make up master class from our backstage make up team, MLA. Following catwalk shows from Khloe Nova and Textures Fashion. Miss Birmingham stepped on the catwalk and took time to answer all of your burning beauty questions! Danish born designer Nina Naustdal closed the show with a stunning Couture collection on a Friday night.
Saturday just as fashion fabulous, with the first catwalk show of the night kicking off with the exotic Nigerian designer, Rad Fashion, complemented by jewellery brand Livto, Birmingham’s Jewellery Quarter based Livto focuses on hand crafted, raw, key pieces, ranging from hand made silver bangles and necklaces, to leather bracelets. Shows from Newcastle based Chateau Boutique and Bulgarian born, London based designer Khloe Nova followed, with the chance in between to really seek out some fashion connections! On both Friday and Saturday night BHMFW hosted a Fashion networking event, giving you the chance to talk to bloggers, designers and fashion professionals about working in the fast paced fabulous fashion industry! Saturday show also included the guest designer Sofia Dourvari, who first showcased her debut collection at BHMFW 2013, also fresh from London Fashion Week; the Greek designer showcased her fabulously elegant metallic collection this year. Birmingham based designer Christopher Shellis closed the show with the exquisite runway collection from House of Borgezie.
Throughout Fashion Week, showroom was open, where a variety of fantastic designers and fashion retailers showcased accessories, beauty and vintage finds that completed the stylish ensembles! BHMFW Official backstage hair team – Francesco Group was available to offer skin tests, professional advice and recommendation for that perfect hair colour for all ski types.
As well as all the brilliant designers and a range of amazing guests, Birmingham International Fashion week also hosted a collection of companies and designers that showcased their collections in our exclusive showroom. The quirky vintage brand What Alice Found had their fabulous vintage goods on show, with a mixture of vintage items and clothing for those of us who adore a one of a kind, timeless look. The stunningly fab Sparkle by Shalgani also exhibited their array of amazing accessories, giving you everything you need for a red carpet worthy ensemble! We were also honoured to have had revolutionary make up company HY-BRD, showing their fantastic make up range for mixed race skin, ensuring your skin is just as fabulous as your look! Finally, for those Carry Bradshaw\’s among us who love nothing more than an gorgeous pair of shoes, Argentinian designers Tango Leike and Laura Eidis featured their sultry sexy heels that are sure to have you set for dancing the night away at our Birmingham International Fashion Week after party! The gorgeously glamorous Banqueting Suite in Victoria Square, all fabulous VIP fashionistas were welcomed with a glass of bubbly on arrival and during shows we kept everyone refreshed with a glass of champagne from Maurice Vendome.
After the last show on Saturday, Birmingham International Fashion Week announced the winner of their Face of The World Competition 2014, which brought together young and talented aspiring models from around the world. The winner of the competition was announced Saturday night including winners from Poland, Cyprus and UK. The weekend culminated in an exclusive after show party where models kicked off those skyscraper heels and joined us at our exclusive Fashion Week After party at Bushwackers, Birmingham, where models, designers and guests danced until the early hours, before making their way to a luxurious stay at our partner Hotel Hotel La Tour and Ibis Style Birmingham Central.

BHMFW were very proud that their fashion weekend was such a
success and are hoping to create further brand partnerships in the future.
