Scotland-born, London-bred Hip-Hop/Grime act, Kwakzino, is releasing new video single, ‘2 Legit 2 Quit’ with B-side ‘Blessed’ featuring Eerf Evil, due for official release on the 3rd of February. Coming from a difficult background growing up in Croydon, London, Kwakzino is set apart from his peers by delivering a positive message out of the harsher realities lived in these streets. With this message, Kwakzino is building a mission for his music by empowering kids growing up in similar situations that they too can turn their life around. Now, with Kwakzino’s message being recognised by numerous outlets including, Radar Radio LDN, Reprezent Radio, Link Up TV, On The Road Entertainment, and Kwakzino successfully selling out headlining shows at the O2 Academy Islington, Kwakzino’s honest and empowering message is catching on fast; attaining the recognition it needs.

Without watering down the content of his music, Kwakzino is crafting competitive sounds with empowering themes for today’s youth that is making serious traction. This single is no different. ‘2 Legit 2 Quit’, the title track from his upcoming album, is a relentless and breathless piece about the struggle, strife and hard work to succeed; resonating with the better half of our conscious; inspiring us to seek out better lives. ‘2 Legit 2 Quit’ highlights some of Kwakzino’s past struggles, from having to share clothes with his younger brother (Eerf Evil) or his previous run-ins with the law which motivated Kwakzino to master his music in order to transcend the negative lifestyle he was living – It’s this focus and determination also mirrored in Kwakzino’s entrepreneurial decision to start his own independent label, Duck Muzik, to gain full creative control and direction with his music.

“Real conscious bangers from Duck Muzik”
