LCL Electronics invests in new equipment to increase capacity and processing capabilities

Leading UK contract electronics manufacturer, LCL Electronics, has increased its capabilities significantly and upgraded its technology for prototypes and production with the purchase of a new AOI machine.

The new ALeader ALD515 from Europlacer has been installed at LCL’s manufacturing facility in Leicester, UK, and will provide an increase to the accuracy and ‘Field of View’ along with an increase in test speed. It uses the latest in i3D advanced optics, with a proven fast and easy-to-program solution. By increasing its test reliability and throughput, LCL’s customers will benefit from the increased capacity and accuracy, from small prLCoduction runs to high volume.

The new machine will work alongside LCL’s existing AOI machine on the production line to significantly increase our test reliability and throughput”.
