Neurotech, the leading innovator in rehabilitative health solutions, proudly announced the commencement of a distribution partnership with Dantec Dynamics, a UK based supplier of a wide range of scientific measurement, clinical electro-medical and industrial process monitoring equipment. This agreement is part of Neurotech’s strategic plan to develop a network of clinician-focused distribution partners for its pioneering treatment for stress, urge and mixed incontinence, NEUROTECH VITAL.
NEUROTECH VITAL is a pioneering, clinically proven, incontinence therapy, designed to treat stress incontinence through externally delivered Multipath™ muscle stimulation, without the need for an internal probe. NEUROTECH VITAL works by activating and exercising pelvic floor muscles using stimulated contraction and relaxation cycles. Comfortable garments, worn around the upper thighs and buttocks, hold conductive electrodes in place and the portable, user-friendly unit allows the user to increase and decrease the signal passing through these electrodes into the pelvic floor muscles, giving full control over the strength of the stimulation.
A 2012 pilot study highlighted significant clinical improvement in subjects with stress incontinence that were treated with the NEUROTECH VITAL therapy.
After 4 weeks of treatment:

+ 60% of subjects were defined as ‘dry’.
After 12 weeks of treatment:

After 26 weeks, 14 weeks after concluding treatment with the NEUROTECH VITAL therapy:
+ Clinical improvements had been maintained.
+ Subjects reported significant improvement in their quality of life since beginning treatment with NEUROTECH VITAL.
