‘Uber’ of the waterless car washing world.

Leicester based Arif launches the ‘Uber’ of the waterless car washing world.

Washlo, the ‘Uber’ of the car washing world is about to take Leicester by storm. The brainwave of Leicester based entrepreneur, Arif Mirza; the new app enabling car owners to book a car wash on their doorstep will be launched on 20th October 2015.

Washlo was invented with convenience in mind. A car owner simply has to select the date, time and address they need their car cleaning at, choose the particular service they want and then make their payment. A professional, trained in the particular eco-friendly techniques used by Washlo, will then wash the car as arranged. Car washes are available from just £8 for a ‘Quicklo’ fifteen minute exterior wash with tyre and wheel shine, through to £35 for the optimum ‘Biglo’ package involving complete exterior and interior clean.

“I was just chatting with my wife, Sumayya, about the hassle involved with getting my car washed when the idea came to me. Why not develop an app that enables the user to order a car wash to their location, quickly and easily? It seemed so simple. I couldn’t believe that no one had tried it yet!”

The Washlo car wash uses less than a cup of water, which is great news for those keen to protect the environment. Using carnauba wax, the water smart solution was specifically designed to trap and remove the dirt whilst lubricating the surface of the car to provide a safe and scratch free finish. Free from petroleum, hazardous chemicals and acids, the solution not only cleans the car but protects the paintwork, and keeps it cleaner for longer.

Though only available in Leicester at present, Arif is keen to take Washlo to the rest of the East Midlands within the first year, before targeting London and other major UK cities. With an aim to create 50 jobs within the first three months, Arif believes that Washlo isn’t just a car wash; it’s a social movement!
